Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the C'è Sciopero mobile application, available on the App Store and Google Play.

1. Description of Service

C'è Sciopero is a free application that aggregates and communicates information about public transport strikes in Italy — trains, buses, metro, and schools — via push notifications and in-app browsing. Information is sourced from publicly available official sources.

2. Acceptance

By downloading and using C'è Sciopero, you fully accept these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please uninstall the application.

3. Free Service

C'è Sciopero is completely free. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or charges of any kind.

4. Nature of Information and Disclaimer

The strike information published by the app is provided for informational purposes only and is aggregated from public and official sources. C'è Sciopero is not an institutional body and is not affiliated with trade unions, transport operators, or government agencies.

Strikes may be announced, cancelled, or modified by third parties with short notice, beyond our control. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of published information. We recommend verifying information through official channels before making decisions about your travel.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, C'è Sciopero is not liable for:

  • Incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated strike information;
  • Disruptions, financial losses, or other damages resulting from reliance on the app's information;
  • Service interruptions due to maintenance, technical issues, or force majeure;
  • Decisions by third parties (unions, operators, authorities) that alter the strike situation after publication.

6. Intellectual Property

The name "C'è Sciopero", the logo, the design, and all original content in the application are the exclusive property of the developer and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law. Any unauthorised use is prohibited.

7. User Conduct

You agree to use the app solely for lawful personal purposes, and not to attempt unauthorised access to the app's systems, reproduce its content without permission, or interfere with its operation.

8. Changes to Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, and to update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of the app after publication of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Privacy

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute arising from the use of C'è Sciopero shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court of the user's place of residence, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
